Isa helps you to regularly switch between sitting, standing, and movement. Many people sit for significantly longer periods at a time during focused screen work than is good for them. In everyday life, you often don't even notice how long you've been working without moving.
Isa's reminders are intended to provide small prompts and help to bring more movement into the working day. However, this doesn't mean you have to follow every reminder immediately.
If you are concentrating on work, in a meeting, or it's not a suitable time, you can of course ignore prompts. Isa is meant to support, not stress.
How often Isa reminds you depends on your goals, the chosen intensity, and your actual behaviour.
If you barely notice Isa, it's often a good sign, for example, because you already regularly use your standing desk, make enough posture changes, or take short screen breaks.
You can adjust the intensity at any time:
Menu (top right) → Intensity → Starting out, Feeling good or Full steam ahead → save
You can also deactivate individual functions:
Menu → Settings → Health Features → Turn Features On or Off
For focused work, there is also the focus mode:
Menu → Settings → Focus mode → „Activate on Home screen“
After that, you can activate Focus mode directly from the home screen for 30 or 60 minutes. During this time, notifications will be reduced or paused.
